i thank God for all these beautiful people
i forgot to put in my pervious post!

anyway, today, i just HAD TO BLOG ABOUT THIS.
since today is the LAST cell the saltshakers will have, big and small alike, and the last even the big saltshakers will organise together for 08, i have decided that today's post will commemorate the wonderful relationships i have discovered in 08!

my fabulous STC clique was split up:/
as we all went to all our different schools, i'm proud to say that we've still kept in touch.
i'm glad i can still keep in touch especially with ju and elo and bell((:
thank God that i see judith and eloise every day
and thank God that though i don't see annabelle that often we still talk all our nonsense like when we saw each other every day.
plus, i still get to see the rest.

Life Concert!
life concert was really an eye-0pener and i mus confess that it opened many doors and lowered inhibitions during worship for me.
definitely, life concert marked the first time i really raised my hands and the jumping(:
lets carry this on in service k!

SFC!
SFC gave me a wonderful time of fellowship and really really, the bible studies allowed me to slack off while teaching the red book.
HAHA
especially the whole course on prayer, a topic which came up many many times in the red book.
and of course, SFC let me get to know and grow closer to so many people like Shane and weiwen and hui ling(who takes bus with me!) such.
i realised that i kind of know like, every girl's name. all those who go for SFC.
(i'm sorry i can't go for sfc camp!)

i don't really love 08A06, but i definitely am grateful for my class clique(:
Berakah and annette and hilary!
these people have brought much entertainment into the boring school grind(:
and especially thanks to berakah who motivates me to study and gives me a mark to aim for during lit(with annette and hil too actually. we are the lit and GP pros. HAHA later don't do well)(:

Rhema conference 08!
definitely i have to say that it was a time of stretching.
i was an admin for goodness sake.
i am super disorganised, super slow, super forgetful and am an ultra procrastinator.
it's amazing i got anything done.
HAHA
but it really forced me to step out of my comfort zone (like calling people, which i HATE, and chasing people for stuff which i merely dislike)
it's something i enjoyed, but something i would also definitely think twice about accepting in the future.
and and of course the people(:
joanne again, and jess and russell, us the 4 saltshakers in the 7-member youth part of rhema comm.
cornelius who i got to know better(:
Gaomin who helped me alot and whom i need to thank MUCH MUCH
joel tang of course. hot and cold-_-
and it helped me interact more comfortably with the laolaos.

and of course all the sub-com members
though mostly log.
my sub com doesn't count cause it's all saltshakers.
HAHA
and i realised that i met alot of them in leaders retreat.
the log sub com that does not consist of saltshaker guys anyway.
i shall not name names.

this is going to be long. so unless you are a saltshaker CM, don't bother to read it cause it's people-specific.
Saltshakers
i can pinpoint exactly when the CMs grew closer together.
it was when planning sow and reap and jess and aaron and joshua lui and kenneth and i were at the level 2 hall earlier and jess brought tea from the french society at her school.
i remember the tea.
aaron had the honey tea or something i remember
josh had the vanilla and something
kenneth had peppermint
and mine was blackcurrant and peach.
i remember that aaron and josh's had no smell and josh's tasted strange.
kenneth's had a strong Strong smell
and mine had the best smell(((((:
i brought the packet that contained the satchet around after that, telling people
this is the smell of love
jess wrote jess<3 color="#000000">it was when i really started feeling that i belonged to the cell i think.
that day, i got everyone to smell the teas.
HAHA
it really broke the ice.
and then planning for sow and reap.
i think eventually sow and reap had a great impact on the CMs as much as on the kids and their friends and maybe we even turned out to have benifited the most.
i don't know.
the tea day was when we discussed what to do to entertain the kids, skit was decided and eventually, THE skit.
it was so much better and more impactful that i could have ever imagined.
and after we were all assigned, i think we became one, part of something Bigger.
and through this whole journey we've grown tendrils and vines and stems around and into each other.
and that's why we cannot bear to be seperated, because it'll be like tearing out part of ourselves.
all the inside jokes, the insults (mostly at lengshan) and of course, all the memories we've shared.
without the saltshakers, i would definitely be a different person.
saltshakers, you've given me a space to grow, people to call my own and a place where i belong.

i hope you understand that at that point of time i didn't know what to do and i didn't know what you needed. i'm sorry that i might have made things akward between us, and i'm sorry for the lost time that we had there.
