when a girl is jealous, that's normal. but when a guy is jealous, it's sweet.

and i was thinking about that, together with some other stuff.

and i realised.

jealousy implies some form of ownership or rights over the other person, that justify them being jealous.

for a girl to feel that way, it's "normal" and usually not reciprocated.

but when a guy feels that way, it's "sweet" because it's NOT common.

because in society males find is acceptable/expect to have ownership of females and thus need not be jealous and yet cannot deign to allow females to have ownership over them, thus the stigma against jealous girlfriends?

just a thought.
